Welcome to the Droitwich Spa U9 Panthers team page. We currently play in Div 1 of the Mercian Festival Junior Football League,U9 section. We play our home matches at St Peters Playing Fields in Droitwich on Saturday mornings and we train at Droitwich Spa High School on Thursday evenings.
The coaches and the squad are focused on the all round development of the players with an emphasis on the basic skills and techniques of the game but in a fun based environment. We then seek to apply these in match situations. The players are always encouraged to express themselves and try new skills in matches regardless of whether they get it right or not. Mistakes don’t matter! Having a go does!
The players have been taught the ethics of the game from an early age and know how to win and lose in the correct manner, always displaying the utmost respect for opponents and match officials.
We are always keen to play friiendlies inbetween league matches or in the close season. Any team who would like to play us should contact Rob Heywood via the details provided on the contacts page.
