Astro Training Schedule

Goal keeping Coaching

Starting 2011-12 season our Professional Goalkeeper coaching will be weekly for club players who would like to improve their goal keeping skills. This will be every Monday evening so it does not clash with team training.

Sessions start on Monday 12th September 2011 at 6.30pm for all age groups. This will be on the pitch behind the astro at Droitwich Leisure Centre.

This training is open to all club members to attend regardless of ability and experience.

Team Coaching

Droitwich Spa Boys and Girls FC work closely with professional coaches to provide a professional structured coaching program. Age Group managers and players work with the pro-coaches to tailor structured coaching for all age groups of the club from U6 development teams through to U18 age groups.

We incorporates a four cornered learning approach - Technical, Tactical, Psychological, and Social. This provides each player with individual and group skills to develop. Along with individual development, managers and coaches work with pro-coaches to develop sessions and practice points for their teams and group in tactical and team play.
